It's flipping simple!
Samsung have announced two new flip mobile phones, unfortunately
they are pretty basic mobile phones but if you
want an inexpensive, simple handset then you might want to read
on.
The first of the two new mobile phones is the Samsung B300 (SGH-B300),
it’s a lightweight handset weighing in at
just 78 grams with a 1.5” 128 x 128 pixel display. It boasts
an easy to use layout, and FM radio, MP3 ring tones
(but no dedicated media player), Java support and WAP browser. A
nice feature of the B300 is the attractive
fashionable patterns on the outer fascia.
The Samsung B300 has a talk time of 3 hours and a standby time
of 8 days. Unfortunately the release date and
price are yet to be announced.
The second of the two new flip mobile phones is the Samsung M310,
the spec is slightly better than the B300
but overall it is still a basic handset.
The SGH-M310 has a 1.7” 128 x 160 pixel display screen as
well as an external 1” display screen. It boasts
Bluetooth, FM radio, Java, MP3 ring tones, WAP browser and a VGA
camera. The M310 is a quad band phone
where as the B300 is dual band.
The M310 has a maximum talk time of 3 hours and a maximum standby
time of 12 days. It is expected to be
released this summer, no price has been confirmed so far.
All in all Samsung haven’t announced anything spectacular
but if you want a flip phone on a budget then the
B300 or the M310 could be the mobile phones for you!
